I just had to share this one on the beginning of our 5th year in operations! “ I just received my 13th Confederate plate from John. One of the finest, if not the best, Rope Border C.S oval that any one has ever seen! The second buckle, a CS rounded corner plate, is equally as nice! John hit the ball out of the park with all of his sales to me! Everything he stated was truthful and he has demonstrated an integrity hard to find in the Civil War collecting arena ! (6) The Virginia belt plate I bought from Quartermaster General Relics was as described and FLAWLESS!!! It also had very good pictures to show the relic. John Harris, the owner of the company, is a very stand up guy and will answer any questions you might have on any artifact that he has for sale. He backs his relics 100 percent to be authentic. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to buy quality relics that haven’t been repaired or worked on in anyway. He goes to great lengths to make sure that doesn’t happen. (14) To consolidate all my purchases from John in the last 2 years I have purchased 7 Confederate Buckles......a medium wishbone, a SC two-piece, a Maryland oval, a VA breast plate, a CS script 2- piece, a NC 6th Inf, and a VA Militia plate. Along with all the purchases John has sold numerous items for me as well. The only thing I regret is that I let some of his other pieces get away period. Obviously because of the number of transactions I’ve had with him I regard him as trustworthy and honest ! I hope to continue to do business and maintain a friendship in the future! From the quality of the items (a Gatinois and a Saintonge button), the the description and the historical information about these and the other regiments that served at Yorktown.
